The Mazda6 delivers a lot of sporty car for the money, especially when compared with Japanese rivals that usually cost more when equally equipped. Mazda developed the 6, identified by the brand-new numeric designation, as a front-drive replacement for the brands aging 626 and Millenia. Indeed, Mazda intended the 6 to compete with some of the best of Germany--and it does. Almost. A far less controversial subject was the 6s dynamic design and athletic stance. The 6 is sexier than an Accord or Camry. In fact, this body style is what the Accord probably should have been. Another editor commented, Perhaps a bit showy and aggressive for a middle-of-the-roader, but its acceptable. For this price level, the Mazda6 offers better-than-average interior materials and look.
